A blog is basically a website that you can update yourself. To update a blog, you create ‘posts’ which are displayed in date order. The other main feature of a blog is that you can invite your reader to interact with your blog by leaving comments.

Blogs are becoming increasingly common on the internet. They can be used by individuals who what to publish their thoughts on anything, or by businesses who what to keep customers informed with news, products and promotions. They can also be used as updatable websites (see the example on this page).

At the Website Design Studio, we use WordPress, one of the leading blogging platforms, to create blogs. One of the advantages of WordPress is that there are a vast number of ‘theme’ templates available that you can use to determine the look and feel of your site. Alternatively, we can design you a theme from scratch.

If you already have a website, we may be able to integrate a blog so it looks and feels like a page from your current website.
