At the top end of the range there are database driven websites with complex features such as online selling facilities with stock control, blogs, or Flash animations.

The starting price for an author website can be as low as £150 for a one page site.

A typical, simple,l five-page website, usually costs in the region of £450.

If you need a self-editable site, the extra charge is £55.

Ongoing costs

You also need to take into account on-going costs. The curent charge for hosting renewal, domain renewal and full support for twelve ,months is £95 per year.
